Christopher B. Meagher

Christopher Meagher is the principal of Meagher & Meagher, P.C. After graduating from the University of Maryland with a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Christopher spent several years working as an Architect before realizing his true passion was law. He attended Fordham Law School and after being admitted to the New York, Connecticut and New Jersey State Bar, he started his career as an associate with the Wall Street firm of Lord Day & Lord. In 1994 Christopher joined his father, Thomas F. Meagher, in private practice where he took the legal field by storm.

Christopher has achieved state wide recognition for his trial advocacy. In 2009, in his zealous representation of his clients, he achieved two record breaking verdicts in Westchester County that to date are still the first and second highest medical malpractice verdicts in Westchester's history. His focus and dedication has propelled him to the top of his field and his extraordinary skills and unmatched reputation has allowed him to achieve success in legal areas beyond Meagher & Meagher, P.C.'s primary focus of plaintiff's medical malpractice. Christopher represents clients who have been injured in auto accidents, construction accidents, slip and falls, and pharmaceutical errors in addition to matters as delicate as sexual assault and molestation. His litigation skills have also significantly expanded commercial litigation practice applying his expertise on behalf of plaintiffs and defendants in a variety of cases dealing with breach of contract, real estate, partnership dissolution and other commercial matters.

Christopher has been continuously recognized by SuperLawyers and Top Attorneys in Westchester. He has also been honored by the Victim's Compensation Fund for his dedication to helping the victims of September 11th. Furthermore, he is a member of the NYS Bar Association, NYSTLA, Westchester County Bar Association, Bronx County Bar Association and the Yonkers Lawyers Association. Christopher actively participates in a variety of organizations to help bring about change in his community.

Christopher has proudly built Meagher & Meagher, P.C. into one of the largest boutique litigation firms in Westchester County on the reputation of his late father, Thomas Meagher. He has continued his father's legacy of serving "one client at a time with passion, skill and enthusiasm" and is honored to incorporate that legacy while shaping the young attorneys and paralegals who are the future of his office.
